Space Legion ("we", "us", or "the app") is a mobile strategy game. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the app, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (used for login and account identification)
• Display name (commander name and regiment name you choose)

Gameplay Data

• Regiment and company configurations, equipment, and statistics
• Combat results, contract history, and leaderboard ranking
• In-game currency balances (credits, merc credits, salvage)
• Season progress and reputation points

Purchase Data

• Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card number or banking details.
• We retain records of which in-app products you have purchased (Merc Credits packs) to deliver your entitlements.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To operate and maintain your game account and progress
• To display your regiment and commander name on the public leaderboard
• To process in-app purchases and deliver purchased items
• To match you with opponents in arena and PvP battles
• To improve game balance and the overall player experience

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Limited data is shared with:

• Stripe — for secure payment processing
• Other players — your regiment name, commander name, and leaderboard ranking are visible to other users
• Service providers — hosting and database infrastructure that power the app

5. Data Retention

Your gameplay data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all associated game data at any time directly in the app via Settings → Delete My Account, which immediately erases your regiment, companies, equipment, contracts, season progress, and currency. Your login account is removed by our support team within 30 days. You may also contact us to request deletion. Admin-initiated resets will also remove regiment data.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard access controls to protect your data. Payment information is tokenized by Stripe and never stored in our database. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.

8. Your Rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Opt out of leaderboard participation by not completing contracts

9. In-App Purchases

The app offers optional in-app purchases via Stripe, including Merc Credits packs (one-time). Purchases are processed by Stripe and subject to their terms. All purchases are final unless required by law.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above or through in-app notifications.
